Anyone Can Run.

People have some VERY strong feelings about running! Some people love it; it’s their happy place and part of their self-care routine. Other people only ever ran in gym class, because they had to.

Running can look very different to different people. Our goal is to show you that running can be for anyone and everyone! We want to help you knock down barriers that might be holding back any potential runner, whether it be fear, injury, or just not knowing where to start!

On Your Mark

We start by getting to know you. Whether you are running now and are struggling with an injury, or if you just got your first pair of running shoes. We get an understanding of where you’ve been, where you are now, and where you would like to go. During your individualized assessment, we will take a look at everything from how you move, to the type of shoes you are wearing, to analyzing your running stride.

Get Set

We give you the tools to safely, and confidently start your running plan. Together we will create a running program specific to where you are right now, and help you to reach your goal! You’ll also go home with an exercise program to help build strength as you build confidence to safely push yourself to new limits.

Go!

We’re basically your personal hype-squad! Your Physiotherapist will help you make adjustments and plan each step, to get you to your running goal. Sometimes it’s having someone to give you advice on when to push yourself in your strength exercises, or to monitor the volume or intensity of training. If you are dealing with an injury, specific techniques may be needed on an ongoing basis to help get you to where you want to go. Either way, we will be there every step of the way!

Our Fees

  • An individualized assessment with Physiotherapist, Dave Hawken. Assessment includes an analysis of running stride, advice on footwear, and an individualized running program with supporting exercises.

  • A one-on-one follow-up visit with Dave to address any injuries, as well as adjust training and exercise program.
